Ezine Marketing Tips by Rick Beneteau

Profile

In a varied career Rick was responsible for the creation of many national advertising jingles and still consults larger companies on convention production. An internationally recorded and released songwriter he oversaw the start-up of Ocean Records Canada.

A pioneer of the 2-Tier Affiliate Program he writes business articles in a style not seen very often on the Internet. His friendly, wit-driven articles have filled the pages of most of the prominent ezines and newsletters.

Rick has been helping thousands of people make money on the Internet through his best-selling e-Books and his FREE "E-chievement" Ezine, The Mirror: he has just released what is destined to remain another top-seller, Branding YOU and Breaking the Bank.

Top Tips

1) Reputation is King, so Crown Yourself!
Become THE Expert in your field. Effective Personal Branding is a MUST for your Internet success. Think it's a long and costly process? Think again! All I had was a beat-up PC and a dial-up and I did it. And you know what? SO CAN YOU!!

2) You can be a Yahoo, or, You can be taken Seriously!
Drop the free email account and free server, get your own domain to rule over and start marketing like the Pro's!

3) Put Your Personality Where Your Mouth Is!
Let your website viewers in on a little personal information about you. The Internet is one cold place so add some "warmth" to your website. It will pay off in a big way for you!

4) Not Just Another Pretty Face so Use It!
It doesn't matter whether you like Richard Gere, Julia Roberts or Eeyore the Donkey. What you look like can't be helped but it is you, so make a conscious decision to unveil yourself with a good photo on your website and in applicable promotional materials. Like the commercial says, Just Do It

5) Set Your Sites on Customer OverService!
Perhaps the greatest way of building trust with your customer is to let them experience the fact that you are there for them, and as close to the speed of light as you can! From my own direct experience, my customers and resellers are simply amazed when they receive the fast (often instant) and friendly email support I provide.

6) Why Hype When You Can Sell?
Do you like to be hyped? Well, neither does anyone else. Sporting a hypey fluorescent red website with two-inch tall text screaming "Make $50,000.00 Your First Week" is the exit ramp off the Information SuperHighway. Cut the Crap and Serve Up the Beef!

7) I Just Wanna Testify!
Post your Testimonials to spread your good name! It's a very skeptical world out there and especially so in the faceless cyber-world! If you're doing something that benefits your customers to the point that they take time to write or call, then Use It!! It's one thing when you tell me how great my product is, but it's a whole other world when your customers tells me. After all, can't you use all the honest ammunition you can get your mouse on?

8) Sell a MEG but Give a GIG!
Perceived value (what your customers *think* they are going to get) is important, but true value is essential and you MUST give your customers more in value than the dollars you receive from them!"
